The Fanny Pack, fashion’s most divisive accessory!
When it comes to fashion, rule number one is to never say never!
There’s nothing the fashion industry loves more than the chance to make everyone reconsider something they’ve written off as uncool.
That’s how the unsophisticated Fanny packs landed in the runways of Chanel in the 1990s. However, Karl Lagerfeld crafted his high-end version of the fanny packs in Chanel’s signature quilted black lambskin.
They were referred to as “belt bags”. Vintage bags from this collection now sell for over 6,000 EUR.
Collection: Circa 1990
